UCI Medical Monitoring Program
MTB, Track and BMX
Dear President,
The UCI has always made the riders’ health a priority.
In this respect, the UCI Medical Monitoring Program is one of the measures to protect and promote the rider’s health.
More specifically, in accordance with chapter 3 para 3 of the UCI Medical rules (Part XIII of the UCI Cycling Regulations), a designated group of MTB, Track and BMX riders shall undergo a list of medical tests established by the UCI Medical Commission.
Attached you will find the ranking lists of the MTB, BMX and Track riders who are subject to the UCI Medical Monitoring in 2017. I respectfully request that you inform the selected riders of your federation accordingly.
Further information on the medical monitoring program is available under the UCI Medical Rules or on the UCI website (http://www.uci.ch/clean-sport/medical-monitoring-162736/).
I want to remind you that the mandatory tests shall be conduct at the team’s (for riders registered in a UCI Team) or at the National Federation’s expense.
Please note that once completed the medical monitoring control declaration shall be sent to the UCI Medical Consultant by email exclusively at the following address: medical@uci.ch.
Finally, I would be grateful if you could provide me with the contact details of your National Federation doctor.
